Welcome to Age of Learning School Solutions! We are so excited to help get you set up for the success of your Teachers, Students, and Families. Here are the seven essential steps we recommend getting off your checklist as soon as possible:
- Activate Your Account
- Roster Your Organization
- Invite Teachers
- Distribute and Assign Product Licenses
- Set Your Academic Term
- Prepare Your Classroom Devices
- Monitor Organization’s Progress
☑ Activate Your Account
The first thing you should do is activate your Age of Learning account and create a login for the Educator Center.
We will send an invitation to the email address provided by your district or another school administrator.
- Check your email inbox for your account set-up invite from Age of Learning.
- Select the activation link in your email to activate your account.
- Choose a password for your login credentials (your Username is the email address your invitation was sent to).
Helpful Resources:
☑ Roster Your Organization
Administrators are responsible for rostering all teachers and students using their preferred method of rostering.
- Choose the rostering method that’s best for you: Click here if you’re unsure what’s best to use...
- Use the following rostering guides for the method you choose:
- Clever (New this school term: AofL Educator Center app is required!)
- ClassLink (New this school term: AofL Educator Center app is required!)
- SFTP
- One Roster
- CSV Spreadsheet
- Adding a profile manually in the Educator Center.
- See our Educator Center Rostering tools
Remember, the rostering process does not assign program licenses to students or send teacher invitations. See details below.
☑ Invite Teachers
After rostering Teachers, Administrators are responsible for sending account activation invitations to those Teachers through our Educator Center. Rostering teachers does not send these emails automatically. Teachers can then activate their accounts by clicking on their unique activation link, just as you did to activate your account.
- You can send these teacher invitations in multiple ways. Click here to learn more.
- After you have sent all account activation emails, you can use this email template to help teachers get started.
- After teachers are using the programs, you can follow up with this email template with support resources.

☑ Distribute and Assign Product Licenses
Each student needs to be assigned licenses by an Administrator to use Age of Learning products. Teachers do not need licenses assigned to them, but they need to have students assigned to their class with valid licenses.
- If you have more than one Administrator, make sure to distribute licenses to the other Administrators.

- Welcome email template to help other Administrators get started.

☑ Set Your Academic Term
Top-level Administrators should set their organization’s Academic Term. This is the start date for the new school term, when your students will start taking Placement Tests for each of our programs. This Placement initiates the tracking of student progress and growth of skills durning the school year. Any previous usage data will be saved, while progress data will reset once placement is completed.
- From the Educator Center, click Accounts > Manage > Academic Term.
- Enter you Next Term Start Date (mm/dd/yyyy) and click Save.

☑ Prepare Your Classroom Devices
Our programs can be accessed on most devices with internet access (see our minimum technical requirements for My Math Academy and minimum technical requirements for My Reading Academy).
We highly suggest using our automatic system checker to quickly test devices and your general network compatibility.
Your organization’s IT should confirm your network is properly set up to handle all the classroom usage you expect.
- If students will be using tablets, make sure to uninstall any older versions of My Math Academy or My Reading Academy that were previously used.
- If students will be using computers, create a shortcut on your computer or tablet.
