In some cases, you may want other Administrators (or even Teachers) to be able to assign licenses to Students. This is common when other Administrators are also rostering Students.
It's a simple 2-step progress:
- Distribute licenses to the Admins or Teachers so they can assign to Students.
- Once Teachers and School Admins have the licenses, they can assign them to students.
Distributing Licenses
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click Accounts at the top of your screen, and select Licenses and Management from the drop-down menu.
- In the Product column, click one of the Age of Learning programs.
-
In the Product Information section, you'll need to click the Give to Lower Levels button.
- On the Give Available Licenses pop-up, use the drop-down arrow to select the level of your organization (e.g., a District, School, Class) to distribute licenses. If you distribute to a School, admins at that School will be able to assign the licenses. If you distribute to a Class, the Teacher of the Class will be able to assign the licenses.
Enter the number of licenses to distribute and click Done.
Now, lower-level Administrators and/or Teachers with the appropriate permissions can assign licenses to Students.
Notes:
- Distributing licenses to Teachers or other Admins is not assigning licenses to them.
- Neither Teachers nor Admins get licenses assigned to them.
- Teachers can access any program that any Student in their class has a license for.
- Admins do not get program access and can only log in to the Educator Center, not My Math Academy or My Reading Academy, for example.
