This method of rostering is best for districts that have previously integrated with Clever for rostering, managing student information, and providing seamless SSO program access.
If your organization has some users who are not in your student information system (SIS) but need access, you may upload them separately through our CSV uploading process or OneRoster.
AofL Educator Center Required: When rostering with Clever, make sure that you add the AofL Educator Center app, along with any other Age of Learning apps you are licensing. Even if you used Clever with our apps durning the previous school year, you will still need to add the AofL Educator Center app in Clever.
Rostering will fail if the AofL Educator Center app is not added.
Rostering with Clever
- Go to https://www.clever.com. Click on the triangle next to Log in as a student and select District Admin from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your Clever credentials and click Log in.
- Open the left navigation panel, select Applications, and then select Add Applications. (If you don’t see this dashboard view, click the Dashboard link at the very top of the page.
- In the Search box, enter AofL to find the AofL Educator Center app, which you are required to add.* Click the Request App link for the AofL Educator Center app (it has already been added in the following screenshot).
*AofL Educator Center is Required: All rostering for Schools, Classes, and Users is managed through the Educator Center Application and your rostering will fail if you do not add the app during this process.
- Use the same search functionality to find the other Age of Learning programs that your organization is licensing: My Math Academy, My Reading Academy, My Reading Academy Español and/or ABCmouse. Click the Request App link for each one you will be using.
- Click into each of the Apps you have added, starting with AofL Educator Center and select your sharing preferences and click the Share button when done. Please note how many students you are set up to share and that you have sufficient Age of Learning program licenses to accommodate that many students.
Also make sure to set the same sharing preferences for the AofL Educator Center and all other Age of Learning apps you are adding. You will be able make changes to your sharing rules directly through Clever at any time.
- Click the Finish button to finalize setup for each app. Remember to set Sharing rules and click Finish for all your Age of Learning apps.
Age of Learning will receive a notification to complete the set up with Clever. An agent then contact you to confirm that your roster was set up and synced successfully with Clever or ask for any additional information we need.
Once the Clever connection is established, your roster will be synced, allowing your teachers and students to begin seeing the assigned applications in their Clever portal.
