There are three ways that students can log in to their programs (My Math Academy, My Reading Academy, and My Reading Academy Español) from their school classrooms. Here's a quick overview followed by some more details, tips, and troubleshooting.
- QR Code: Go to our Program Login page at https://login.ageoflearning.com and log in on with the student’s QR code badge.
- Teacher Email and Password: Go to our Program Login page at https://login.ageoflearning.com and have the teacher log in on each device with their email address and password.
- SSO: Log in via Clever or ClassLink, if that’s what your school uses.
This article outlines the two ways that students can access My Math Academy, My Reading Academy, or My Reading Academy Español while at school from the Program Login page. For schools using Clever or ClassLink SSOs, see this article.
Log in with an Age of Learning QR Code
QR Codes allow students and teachers to log in to our programs without needing to enter login credentials (i.e., a email address and password). Instead, they can simply go to the Program Login page hold their unique QR code up to their device’s camera to log in to their accounts automatically, bypassing the Class Login page where they would have to select their name and picture passcode.
Administrators and Teachers can download and print Age of Learning QR Codes for students at any time.
Important: Your device must be equipped with a camera to scan QR codes.
Note: If your school is integrated with a third-party rostering system, like Clever or ClassLink, students and teachers can also sign in directly to their profiles through that system.
How to Log in with an Age of Learning QR code
-
Go to https://login.ageoflearning.com and click Scan Badge.
- If prompted, click Allow to provide Age of Learning access to the device's camera.
- Hold the QR code up to the camera.
- Once the QR code is scanned, a green checkmark will appear.
- Teachers using their own QR code will go to their Class Login page, which shows all their students’ names and avatars. From there, students click on their name/avatar to log in to their account (shown in first screenshot below).
Students using their own QR codes will bypass the Class Login page, and will go directly to a page where they can click on any of the licensed programs available to them, such as My Math Academy or My Reading Academy, that they want to start using (shown in second screenshot below).
- Once the selected program loads, teachers or students can choose one of the activities to start playing.
Log in with Teacher’s Email and Password
-
- Visit our Program Login page at https://login.ageoflearning.com/ on all the devices that need to be logged in.
- The teacher should enter their district email address and password and click the Log In button on the left side of the page.
- After the Teacher successfully accesses their Class Login page, students will select their names/avatars to log in to their profile. (Students logging in with QR codes will skip this step.)
- Students will first select their picture passcode (1), then click the green checkmark (2) to confirm the passcode. (The selected passcode will be used for future logins.)
- Students will select from the available the learning programs, such as My Math Academy, My Reading Academy, or My Reading Academy Español. (If one or more students don’t see all the program options that the other students do, it means that those students were not licensed to all the programs. See how to license students here...)
- Students will select a tile after they have completed their placement test in My Math Academy or select an activity from their bookshelf in My Reading Academy.
-
If students need to log out of one program and switch to another program, they should click the back arrow in the top left corner.
-
After clicking the back arrow once, the same student will be able to switch programs or click the back arrow a second time to log out completely, so another student can log in.
-
After clicking the back arrow twice, the student will be fully logged out, and you will see the Class Login page with all the student names and avatars. Another student can click his or her name and then passcode to start learning.
As noted above, students should not “log out” of the program by closing the browser tab or window while logged in; this may cause login problems for the next student. But if there are extra tabs open from previous student usage, you should close them before logging in.
You can also avoid many login problems by making sure all logins start at https://login.ageoflearning.com/.
- If teachers have been assigned multiple classrooms, once they log into the account, they need to click on the drop-down menu to select a class.
