Teachers and Administrators typically log in to the Educator Center or our adaptive learning programs with a school email address and password.
Student, however, do not log in with their own email address and password at school. They will log in one of three ways:
- QR code
- SSO like Clever or ClassLink
- teacher will log into the Class Login page on their devices and students will select their picture passcode
If you are logging your students in to the Class Login page, each student must then click on their own name/avatar and then select the simple picture passcode (apple, bird, cat, turtle, etc.) that they previously set up. So there's no need for them to remember a password.
If you want to have a record of your students’ picture passcodes, you can download an Excel/CSV spreadsheet file with this information from the Educator Center.
You can also use the Educator Center to reset these passcode(s) for one or more of your students.
Download Passcodes
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click Accounts at the top of your screen, and then select Manage and Students from the drop-down menu.

Use the checkboxes to choose multiple students.
- Click Bulk Actions.
- Click Export Selected Results.
- Watch for a green pop-up confirmation that your download is ready. Click Download. This will download a spreadsheet (Excel/CSV) to your computer/device with each student’s passcode.
- If you don't notice the green pop-up, you can find a list of all your downloads and jobs by clicking “Welcome [Your Name]” in the upper-right corner of the screen. From the drop-down menu, select Downloads and Jobs, and then click Download for the file you want.
- The file that downloads is a spreadsheet. Look for the Passcode column for each program. These will list all the picture passcodes that have been set. (Note: We've made the codes bold for easier reading in the following screenshot, but they won't be bold on the spreadsheet).
- You can print or save the spreadsheet for your records as you would any other document.
Reset Passcodes
Note: There is just one passcode for each student to reset that applies to all licensed programs.
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click Accounts at the top of your screen, and then select Manage and Students from the drop-down menu.
- Click the checkboxes next to students whose Passcodes you want to change.
- Click the blue Bulk Actions button and select Reset Product Passcodes from the drop-down menu.
- When prompted, click the Reset Passcodes button to confirm the changes you just made.
- Wait to see the green confirmation pop-up that says 100% Done picture passcode reset.
- Make sure that each student whose codes you have reset logs out of any program he or she is using to complete the Passcode reset process.
- When the student clicks the back arrow to log out of the program, they will be prompted to set a new picture Passcode (which will be used for all licensed programs) and then click the green checkmark to confirm their choice. If they were not logged in when you reset the Passcode, your students will be prompted to set a new Passcode the next time they log in.
- After the students have chosen and confirmed their new picture Passcode, teachers will be able to see the new Passcode icons near the bottom of each student's Student Info page in the Educator Center.
Once teachers see the Passcode icons on the Student Info page, they will be able to reset the codes, if needed, simply by clicking the Reset link under the icon and confirming the choice.
