Growth Reports are available in the Educator Center to help you track the academic progress of a School, a Class, or an individual Student is making on our My Math Academy and My Reading Academy programs. It will give you an Overall Growth summary, Growth by Domains, unique skills completed and unique skills remaining, growth by specific grade-level standards. The following steps show you how to generate an individual growth report and then give an overview of the various sections and data available in the report.
Note: An individual student growth report cannot be generated for a student who did not complete the placement test and complete at least one skill in their grade level or below. Without that minimal amount of activity, there is no growth possible to report. If you are unable to generate a growth report for a student, check their placement status and skills progress on the dashboards for that program.
How to Generate a Growth Report for a Student
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
-
Click Reports at the top right of your screen to open our new Reports Center.
Note: If you are an Admin and don’t see the Reports menu on the Educator Center, contact your organization's Top-Level Admin to change your permissions.
-
In the Reporting Period section, use the drop-down to select a timeframe for your report: Placement to Date, Last Month, Last 2 Months, or Last 3 Months. You can also choose a custom Start Date and End Date if needed.
-
Use the second row of drop-down menus to select your District, School, and Class. The default for Students is All Students; use the drop-down menu to choose an individual student.
Click the Apply button to save your choices.
- The bottom section of the report generator shows you what reports are available based on the timeframe and the program you select. The default program is My Math Academy; click on one of the other programs if you want a different report.
Programs or report types that are grayed out indicate that they are not available, typically because there isn't data for the timeframe selected. At the very beginning of the school year you will have fewer report options because students haven't completed their placement or mastered skills to report on growth. In the following screenshot, a Growth Report is not currently available. If that section wasn't grayed out, you would simply click the Download Report button to generate your report.
When you click Download Report, a new browser tab should open with your Growth Report and can be printed as you would print any other web page.

-
The second section of your report is a snapshot of Growth by Domains by Grade Level. Note, you may see more than one grade level represented because students often need to master some skills from the previous school early in this academic term.
- The next section includes data on the Unique Skills Completed and Remaining per grade level and domain.
- The final section you'll see is Growth by Grade Level Standards, which includes Skills Completed and Skills Remaining for specific standards, growth percentage by standard, and a graph showing Skill Completion Growth. (The following screenshot shows only a small fraction of the standards covered by the report.)
