Monthly Growth Reports are available in the Educator Center to help you systematically track the progress that your class is making by using our My Math Academy and My Reading Academy programs. Here’s all you need to know.
How to Generate Class Growth Reports
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
-
Click Reports at the top right of your screen to open our new Reports Center.
Note: If you are an Admin and don’t see the Reports menu on the Educator Center, contact your organization's Top-Level Admin to change your permissions.
-
In the Reporting Period section, use the drop-down to select a timeframe for your report: Placement to Date, Last Month, Last 2 Months, or Last 3 Months. You can also choose a custom Start Date and End Date if needed.
-
Use the second row of drop-down menus to select your District, School, and Class. If you are logged in as a Teacher with one class, your Class will be preselected and you will have the option to generate the report for All Students or choose an individual student.
Click the Apply button to save your choices.
- The bottom section of the report generator shows you what reports are available based on the timeframe and the program you select. The default program is My Math Academy; click on one of the other programs if you want a different report.
Programs or report types that are grayed out indicate that they are not available, typically because there isn't data for the timeframe selected. At the very beginning of the school year you will have fewer report options because students haven't completed their placement or mastered skills to report on growth. In the following screenshot, a Growth Report is not currently available. If that section wasn't grayed out, you would simply click the Download Report button to generate your report.
When you click Download Report, a new browser tab should open with your Growth Report and can be printed as you would print any other web page.
Growth Report Data
-
At the top of the Growth Report for your Class, you will see:
- Program (MMA, MRA, MRA-E)
- Date the report was generated
- Class name and Grade (if there are multiple grades they will each have their own section within the report).
- Month for the start of the Academic Term
-
Skill Completion Distribution: Needs Support, Developing, Approaching, On Target, Ahead
- Current Status
-
Placement Status
- The second section of your report is a snapshot Growth Summary that highlights the Average Growth by Domain.
- Next, you will see Growth by Student. For each student in the class (only one is shown in this demo class), you will see Total Time Spent, Skills Completed, Skills Remaining, Growth, and Skills Completion Growth.
-
In the Growth by Domain section, for each domain covered you will see the average number of skills your students have completed, the average growth percentage, and Average Skill Completion Growth.
- Finally, Growth by Standards drills down into the standards covered within each domain, highlighting the Average Skills Completed, Average Growth, and Average Skill Completion Growth for each standard.
Remember, if your report covers multiple grades, the same report sections will repeat to cover the growth of the other grades.
