In Educator Center, each Teacher and Administrator profile includes two email fields — one for Login Email and one for Contact Email.
These two fields look similar but serve different purposes, which is why only one of them can be changed directly.
Login Email vs. Contact Email

Why the Login Email Is Locked
The Login Email acts as your unique account ID. It is used to sign into Educator Center and student programs like My Math Academy or My Reading Academy.
It can’t be edited by Teachers or school Administrators because changing it could break the connection to your existing classes, assignments, or District roster.
Only Age of Learning Support (or your SSO provider, if applicable) can correct or replace this field.
How to Fix Your Login Email If Entered Incorrectly
How to fix this depends on how your organization accesses the program:
If your school uses Clever or ClassLink
Your login email is imported automatically from your Clever or ClassLink account.
To change it, your district’s IT or roster administrator must update the email in Clever or ClassLink.
The change will appear in Educator Center automatically after the next roster sync (usually overnight).
Teachers should not create a manual Educator Center account.
If your account was created manually (no Clever or ClassLink)
If the login email was mistyped during account creation and your school does not use an SSO provider:
Do not create a second account manually.
That could disconnect existing classes or assignments.-
Submit a Support Request that includes:
Your full name
The incorrect login email currently on the account
The correct email address it should be changed to
Your school and district name

Our Customer Care team will either:
Correct the email on the back end (if no data loss risk), or
Deactivate the incorrect account and recreate it under the correct login, preserving data when possible.
If you only need to update your Contact Email
If your login email is correct but you’d like program communications to go to a different address:
Log in to Educator Center.
Go to Welcome → Edit Profile.
Update the Contact Email field and click Save.
This change won’t affect your sign-in credentials.
