If you’ve changed your students’ language settings to Spanish in Educator Center but still hear some My Math Academy songs or videos in English, you’re not doing anything wrong — this is a known, temporary issue.
All instructional activities in My Math Academy correctly follow the selected language setting, but a small number of music videos have not yet been translated into Spanish.
When students encounter one of these videos, it will still play in English even though their account is set to Spanish.
Music Videos Currently in English
The following six videos are the ones still in English:
Ten Little Pandas
Ten in the Bed
Five Little Monkeys
Five Little Ducks
Count to Ten
The Shapes Song
All other songs, activities, and lessons appear in Spanish when a student’s language is set to Spanish.
What You Can Expect
When students encounter one of the six videos listed above, it will play in English, but all other content will continue in Spanish.
Teachers do not need to change any additional settings, reassign students, or report this issue.
The language selection feature in Educator Center is working correctly.
When the videos are available in Spanish, students with a Spanish language setting will see them in Spanish.
Status
Our content team is working on translating these six videos into Spanish.
Once that work is complete, the updated versions will be added to My Math Academy automatically — no action will be required from teachers or schools.
