Summary: Error 100405 may appear when students try to open MMA or MRA in class. In this context, the error usually means that students are trying to access the program in an unsupported way, or that their student licenses have not yet been applied or synced. Follow the steps below to get students into the program.
Step 1: Make sure students are using a supported browser
My Math Academy and My Reading Academy run in a web browser, not a downloaded app.
On tablets, open Chrome or Safari.
Go to the program login page: https://login.ageoflearning.com.
Step 2: Refresh licenses if they were just applied
If your school or district recently assigned licenses, refresh or reload the Class Login screen on student devices.
Try logging the class out and back in before retrying.
Step 3: Verify student licenses in Educator Center
Go to Educator Center → Accounts → Manage → Students.
Confirm that each student shows My Math Academy (and/or My Reading Academy) as Assigned.
If any student is blank or expired, contact your site or district admin to assign the correct license.
Step 4: Check connectivity on student devices
Toggle Wi-Fi off and back on.
Fully close and reopen the browser.
Make sure the program isn’t open in more than one browser tab on the same device.
If available, try another device or browser.
Step 5: If the error continues
Confirm how students are launching: are they going through ClassLink/Clever or directly through the login page?
Note whether the error appears before or after students select their class and name.
Share this information with your site or district IT lead, who can escalate with Age of Learning support if needed.
