Our Usage Dashboards make it simple for Teachers to find program usage data for their classes. By default, the Dashboard will display data for This Week. All you need to do is click the By Week or By Month tab to change the dashboard view to access data for all the weeks or months your class has been using the program. We’ll show you how to get started and how to find and understand the valuable information offered on key metrics that will assist you in understanding your students’ usage.
Note: All Dashboard data is reset for the new school year. The exact date that that happens is based on the Academic Term set by your top-level Administrator.
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click Dashboards at the top of your screen and select Usage.
-
My Math Academy data is shown by default. If you need data for My Reading Academy or My Reading Academy Español, click the product drop down to select the program you need.
- Scroll by default, the Usage Dashboard will show you data for This Week (the current week). You'll see that tab highlighted blue in the center of the page. Click either the By Week or By Month tab depending on how you would like to see past usage data for your class organized.
- If you clicked By Week, you will now see that tab highlighted blue, and just below the tabs you’ll see the Learning Time graph, which shows you seven weeks for usage data for your class, starting with the current week on the right. You can click the back arrow < to see earlier data. If you clicked By Month, you would see seven months of usage data for the class.
Note: Any At Home or After School usage is also tracked and counts towards your weekly goals. If there is any home usage for the week selected, it will be shown as a white bar outlined in purple. After School usage appears as a lighter shade of purple than At School usage.
- Scroll down the Dashboard page to see a chart with the weekly usage for each individual student in your class. This view shows one week at a time. You can click the back < and forward > arrows to to view different weeks.
Note: If you teach more than one class, you will probably see the classes listed in this area, and you can click on the class you want to get to the same weekly usage chart for the students.
- Another view of student data is available if you click on the icon to the left of a student name. That will open a pop-up window showing you eight weeks of usage data for the student you selected. Again, you can click the back < and forward > arrows/carats to to view different weeks.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Usage Dashboard and you’ll see graphs with eight weeks of data, showing the % of Licensed Students Who Are Active per Week and % of Active Students by Weekly Time Spent. Your class goal for the former is to have your stay as close to 100% active each week as possible. The latter graph is color-coded to highlight what percentage of your class is using My Math Academy (or My Reading Academy if you selected that program) 0-29 mins. per week (orange), 30-59 mins. per week (blue), and 60+ min. per week (green).
