Understanding the Reports
Student Skills
Students: This tab provides a snapshot of how your students progress across grade levels.
The student list is organized based on progress, with categorization by grade level at the top. For each grade level (Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade), the report provides the percentage of skills completed out of the total number of skills for that grade.
The data visually represents students’ progress based on various skill-completed categories, categorized into different educational phases (Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and 3rd Grade). The skills are quantified for each grade level, indicating the number of skills completed, in progress, needing support, and representing future skills to be acquired.
The color-coded graph classifies skills into distinct stages based on their educational relevance:
- Prior Knowledge (Yellow): Skills that students have already acquired before the current educational phase.
- Completed (Green): Skills that students have successfully mastered in their current grade level.
- In Progress (Blue): Skills that students are currently working on and making progress towards mastering within their grade level.
- Needs Support (Orange): Skills for which students require additional assistance and support to grasp and master.
- Future Skills (Gray): Skills that are anticipated to be learned in the upcoming grade levels.
Skills by Standards
Skills by Standards: This tab provides specific information about how students progress with certain standards. Teachers can sort this data by grade level, standard set, and status and search for a specific skill or standard code.
- Search for a Standard Code: A feature allowing users to search for a specific standard code or use the drop-down menu to select a standard set.
-
# of Students by Status (out of total students rostered): The number of students in each status category (Prior Knowledge, Completed, In Progress, Needs Support) out of a total of students rostered.
-
Students: List of students categorized by their initials.
-
Grade Levels: Grade levels (Pre-K to 5th Grade) with associated standards in reading or math.
The report provides a detailed view of students' progress on specific standards, aiding teachers and administrators in understanding individual and overall class progress. It allows for targeted support, focusing on areas where students are struggling and tracking their advancement in different skills across various grade levels.
