Did you see a URL like this when trying to activate your account:https://educate.aofl.com/parent/welcome/{code}
If you started setting up your Caregiver account and now see a page whose address ends with /parent/welcome/, your activation began but didn’t finish.
This happens after the system recognizes your code but can’t complete or confirm your account creation.
What the “Welcome” Page Looks Like
It usually looks very similar to the setup form you just completed — you may still see your name, email, and password fields filled in — but when you click Submit, nothing happens.
The button may appear unresponsive, the page may flash briefly, or it may stay on the same screen.
In some cases, you’ll see a simple “Welcome” message or a partially loaded blank page.
Whether you still see the form or only a “Welcome” message, the result is the same:
the system recognized your activation code but couldn’t finish creating your caregiver account.
How You Got to This Page
-
You receive an email from Age of Learning with your activation link.
The link looks like:
https://educate.aofl.com/parent/redeem/en-US/?code=XXXXXXXXXXXX
-
You click the link and are taken to the account setup form that asks for:
First Name
Email Address
Password / Confirm Password
Then you click Submit to finish creating your account.
If everything processes normally, you go straight to your caregiver dashboard.
But if something interrupts this step, the system redirects you tohttps://educate.aofl.com/parent/welcome/{code}
—a holding page indicating setup didn’t complete.
What Went Wrong
Setup was interrupted – The browser closed, refreshed, or lost connection after you clicked Submit.
Cached session resumed the “welcome” state – The browser saved that partial attempt and reopened the same state instead of starting fresh.
Device or account change – You started setup on one device and opened the link later on another, causing a mismatch.
Existing caregiver login detected – If your email already has an account, the system may prompt you to “sync” your login/password at this stage.
Note: If your link has expired or was already used, you’ll see a clear “expired” or “used” message. Those are different from the “Welcome” stall.
How to Fix It
-
Reopen the invitation email and click its activation link again.
This restarts setup at the correct page.
-
If you still land on the “Welcome” page, open the same link in a private/incognito window.
This clears any saved data from the previous attempt.
-
Complete the form (First Name, Email, Password) and click Submit.
Your caregiver dashboard should appear after you submit successfully.
If You See a “Sync Login” Message
If you already have a caregiver account, the system may display:
“We found an existing account for this email. Would you like to sync your login and password?”
Choose Yes to reuse your existing login and password (fastest).
Choose No to set a new password for this invitation.
Both options work—you’ll still reach your child’s dashboard once activation completes.
How to Get a New Activation Email
You can resend it yourself—no need to contact the teacher and wait for a response:
Enter the same email that should receive caregiver access.
Click Request Password Reset.
-
Wait at least 10 minutes for the message to arrive.
Sender: Age of Learning
welcome@learn.ageoflearning.comCheck your spam or junk folder if you don’t see it.
If no message arrives after 15–20 minutes, your email may not be in the system yet—ask your child’s teacher to send you a new invitation.
