If you’ve received an invitation to get at-home access to our adaptive Math and/or Reading programs and the ability to track your child your child’s learning progress, this article will help you complete the necessary account setup — especially if you’re unsure about what your password is or how to log in.
Step 1: Check for the invitation email
You should have received an email from:
Sender: Age of Learning
Email address:
welcome@learn.ageoflearning.comSubject line:
Age of Learning Product Activation | Activación del producto de Age of Learning
Even though your child’s school or teacher initiated the invite, you will not see their name in the message. The email comes directly from Age of Learning.
The message includes:
A 12-letter activation code (e.g.,
VBWSVZFMRJHK)-
Links to activate your account in:
English:
https://educate.aofl.com/parent/redeem/en-US/?code=...Spanish:
https://educate.aofl.com/parent/redeem/es-US/?code=...
Or it may direct you to:https://educate.aofl.com/parent/redeem/ where you select your language and enter your code manually.
Step 2: Complete the account setup form
If your code is valid, the link will open a page like this:https://educate.aofl.com/password/reset/?code=XXXXXXXXXXXX
You’ll be asked to:
Enter your first name
Enter your email address
Create and confirm a new password
Click Submit
✅ This is your account creation step. You are not logging in yet — you're creating your password for the first time.
Once submitted, your caregiver account is created and you’ll be automatically signed in.
Common mistake: Trying to log in before setup is complete
If you skip the setup step and go directly to the main login page athttps://educate.aofl.com/,
you may see errors like:
“Invalid email or password”
“Account not found”
That just means the setup wasn’t completed yet.
🔁 Return to the activation link in your email and complete the form to finish setting up your account.
Tip about the web address:
When trying to activate your account or log in to the Caregiver Center, if you notice a web address that includes both the words “dashboard” and “code=” (for example, something like educate.aofl.com/dashboard/?code=...), it means you started to sign in but haven’t finished setting up your caregiver account yet.
Return to your activation email and click the link that begins witheducate.aofl.com/parent/redeem/
to complete the setup form and create your password.
What to do if your activation link is expired
If you click the link and see an “expired” or “invalid” message:
Ask your child’s teacher to send you a new caregiver invitation
Once you receive the new invite, follow the same steps above.
Summary: What screen are you seeing?
| You see this… | It means… | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A form asking for name, email, and password | Setup in progress | Fill it out and click Submit. |
| A login screen asking only for email + password | Setup not complete | Return to the activation link in your email. |
| “I don’t know the password” | No password exists yet | Use the activation link to create one. |
Login and Password Sync pop-up and/or Conflicting Account screen
During activation, you may see a Login and Password Sync pop-up if the email you entered already exists on another Age of Learning account (e.g., ABCmouse, Adventure Academy, or a prior school login). If our system confirms a conflict, you’ll be taken to the separate RemoveConflicting Account screen. This is normal. Click here and follow the steps outlined to complete activation—or fix Error 100405 if the sync doesn’t finish.
Additional Caregiver Set-up Tips

Keep your activation email in your email program in case you need to use the activation/code link again.
-
Activation codes typically expire in 30 days.
-
If your code has expired you can go here https://educate.aofl.com/password/request/ and enter your email address to get sent a new email/code. You'll be asked to reset your password.
-
Once your account is active, you will log in to the Caregiver Center at https://educate.aofl.com/ whenever you want to track your child's progress.
-
You Username for the Caregiver Center is the email address that received your account activation email. The password is the one you chose during signup.
-
Save the password you activated your account with. If you ever forget it, you can request a reset here: https://educate.aofl.com/password/request/
-
You will use the Caregiver Center for tracking only, not program access.
-
The programs for your child to use are available via a web browser here: https://login.ageoflearning.com/.
-
Do NOT try to launch the programs from the Caregiver Center or download app versions of the programs.
-
Use the same email/password you used for the Caregiver Center to access our Reading and Math programs, or you can use a QR code if provided by your child's teacher.
-
Homeschooling families should not use the same email address to activate a student/caregiver account at home as the one used to set up the account that the designated Admin and Teacher use.
