Mastery AI Assistant Overview
- Easy to use: Available on Progress Dashboards (the default This Week view) and activated with a single click, the Mastery AI Assistant saves teachers time and reduces stress while ensuring every student gets targeted instruction to succeed.
- Easy to control: Admins can turn Mastery AI Assistant on/off for their classroom or org from their Edit Profile page.
- Targeted support that respects privacy: Mastery AI Assistant Lesson Plans are partially generated by AI using students’ learning progress in our program. AI-generated content does not use students’ personal data.
How to Use Learning Assistant for Lesson Plans

Log in to your Educator Center account.

Click the Dashboards menu and select Progress.

The Mastery AI Assistant is designed to provide targeted support for students who are identified as struggling with specific skills. Orange circles on the Progress Dashboard indicate the struggling students and the number in each circle indicates how many skills the student need support for.
Click the Mastery AI Assistant button above the Skills Progress Status chart.

The Mastery AI Assistant provides an overview of what skills students are struggling with and what types of support would best address their needs. Each skill is listed along with the standards aligned to the skill and which students needs support in this area
Click the Generate a lesson plan to cover this skill button.

A detailed lesson plan will be generated in a new browser tab. Details include the Lesson Objective and the total time estimated for the lesson, Materials needed, Direct Instruction, Guided Practice: Collaborative Learning, Independent Practice, and Closure.
If you click to generate an AI Lesson Plan and there are no students identified as Needs Support, you won't see a suggested lesson play. It will simply say No interventions to show.
How Admins Can Activate Our Mastery AI Assistant

Log in to your Educator Center account.

Click the Welcome menu in the upper-right corner and select Edit Profile from the drop-down. Then click the Mastery AI Assistant toggle.
You will see the Mastery AI Assistant toggle is now green, and a green Saved checkmark will confirm the feature has been activated.
