We are actively addressing a profile/login issue, as detailed below, reported by some My Reading Academy users who are sharing a Chromebook. If you’ve encountered similar problems or have more insights, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Your feedback is vital for our ongoing efforts to enhance our programs, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable learning experience for all users.
-
Description: Some students using Chromebooks are inadvertently being logged into other students’ profiles. This has been reported to have happened when the student returns to the Product Select page to switch from one program to another and other browser tabs were left open by previous users.
-
Issue status: We are actively working on a fix for this, but we do not yet have an estimate of when it will be resolved.
-
Recommended workaround: To avoid this issue, we recommend that students make sure they close all extra open tabs and start with only one browser tab. Teachers should make sure that students go back to the Classroom’s Select Student page (where all the student profiles are listed), and click to log in to the correct student profile.
