While we believe in making learning engaging and fun for our students, we also want to ensure that our programs are effective. To that end, we've implemented a daily 15-minute goal that encourages consistent practice and progress.
Daily 15-Minute Goal
Every student is set a daily goal of 15 minutes for their learning activities. This goal serves as a motivating target to encourage regular engagement with the educational content. It's essential for students to spend at least 15 minutes actively participating in learning activities to reach their daily goals.
The Activity Meter: Tracking Your Progress
The Activity Meter in My Reading Academy or My Math Academy allows students to monitor their progress towards the daily goal. The meter tracks the time students spend engaging in learning activities. It's important to note that the Activity Meter measures time spent on activities, not the number of activities completed. This emphasizes the importance of focused learning and allows students to pace themselves accordingly.
Earning the Dance Party Reward
Upon successfully achieving their daily 15-minute goal, students are rewarded with a well-deserved dance party! The dance party is a lively and joyful celebration of their commitment to learning. It’s a fun way for students to unwind and revel in their accomplishments, creating a positive and energetic learning environment.
How to Access the Dance Party
Students will access the dance party whenever they reach their 15-minute daily goal and the Activity Meter reflects this achievement. Once the goal is met, the dance party will automatically activate, allowing students to enjoy the celebration and feel a sense of achievement for their dedicated learning efforts.
