We encourage your child to reinforce and accelerate their learning by using the same Age of Learning products at home that they are learning with at school.
The first step is for your child’s teacher or school to provide you with a special 12-letter code to activate your free at-home account. After redeeming the student code, families will gain access to the Caregiver Center and any Age of Learning program the child is using at school.
This article will walk you through that simple process. Choose the option based on whether you received your activation code via email, text, or a printout from the school. (We‘ve also included some additional, related information you may find helpful after the main instructions.)

Redeem a Student Code from Email
The following steps will show you how easy it is to activate your Age of Learning account at home, starting with the email invitation, since that’s how most families receive their access codes.
- Check your email account for a Product Activation email from us. The Sender will be Age of Learning (welcome@learn.ageoflearning.com). The email will contain these elements:
- Subject line: Age of Learning Product Activation | Activación del producto de Age of Learning (labeled 1 in the following screenshot)
- Products available to you (the section labeled 2 in the screenshot)
- 12-Letter Activation code (for example VBWSVZFMRJHK; labeled 3 in the screenshot)
- Activation links in English and Spanish (labeled 4 in the screenshot)
Click either the English or Spanish activation link at the bottom of the email. Note: only click once, even if you see two programs.
2. Depending on your choice, you will go to a Redeem Code page in either English or Spanish. Your activation code will already be pre-populated in the redeem code field, so all you need to do is click the blue Submit button.
Alternate step: If you have a code printed out and are not coming from our welcome email, go to https://educate.aofl.com/parent/redeem/, click English or Spanish, and you will be at this same Redeem Code page where you will enter your code and click Submit.
3. On the following account creation page, enter your First Name and Email Address (use the address that your code was sent to; this email address will be used as your Username whenever you log in). Choose a Password following the guidelines on the page, confirm the password by typing it again, and then click Submit.
Note: If your child says they already have a password from their classroom, that is a misunderstanding, and you need to create your own password to log in from home. Students don't log in with an email address and password at school but do click on a "picture passcode" when the log in from their classroom login page.
4. If you see a Login and Password Sync pop-up, click the Continue Sync button.
5. You should now see a small pop-up welcoming you to the Caregiver Center. Click the Get Started button to finish your account set-up process.
You will want to return to the Caregiver Center to monitor your child’s progress after some time using our programs.
Redeem a Student Code from Text
If you received your Age of Learning invitation to activate your home account via text, the following steps will walk you through that simple process.
-
Open the text program on your phone or tablet, look for a text from 22121 that should say “Welcome! Please click the following link ...” in the preview, and open the text. Click on the first link (which will be from https://educate.aofl.com/ to activate your account in English or the second link to do so in Spanish.
- If you clicked the redeem link, the code to activate your account should already be in the Redeem Code field, so all you need to do is click the Submit button. (If you don't see the code pre-populated in the box, look back at your text and you’ll see that the link ends with “code=” followed by 12 capital letters, which is the code you need. Enter those 12 letters manually here if you need to.)
-
This is where you will activate your account with your login information. Enter your first name, email address, and a password (following the simple password requirements). Once your password meets the requirements, enter it again to confirm, and then click the Submit button.
Note: If your child says they already have a password from their classroom, that is a misunderstanding, and you will still need to create your own password to log in from home. Students don't log in with an email address and password at school but do click on a "picture passcode" when the log in from their classroom login page.
- You should now see a prompt to sync your email address and password with our Caregiver Center and programs, so you will have the same login for both. Click the blue Continue Sync button.
- You will see a very brief overview of what’s available on the Caregiver Center. Click the blue Get Started button to continue on to the Caregiver Center (enter your email address and password if prompted).
Redeem a Student Code from Print
Some schools will send children home with codes printed out rather than emailing or texting them. If your child got a redeem code this way, the process to activate your at-home account is similar to the email process described above but starts on a different page.
- Go to https://educate.aofl.com/parent/redeem/ and click English or Spanish.
-
Type your child’s code (12 letters) into the Redeem Code box and click the blue Submit button.
3. On the account creation page, enter your First Name and Email Address. Note: the email address that you enter here will be your Username whenever you log in, so remember what you use if you have multiple emails. Choose a Password following the guidelines on the page, confirm the password by typing it again, and click Submit.
Note: If your child says they already have a password from their classroom, that is a misunderstanding, and you will still need to create your own password to log in from home. Students don't log in with an email address and password at school but do click on a "picture passcode" when the log in from their classroom login page.
4. If you see a Login and Password Sync pop-up, click the Continue Sync button.
5. You should now see a small pop-up welcoming you to the Caregiver Center. Click the Get Started button to ... get started exploring the Caregiver Center.
Want to Log in to Age of Learning Programs?
Now that you’ve redeemed your code and seen the Caregiver Center (which you can return to anytime by going to https://educate.aofl.com), you will probably want to check out the programs your child is using at school: either My Math Academy, My Reading Academy, My Reading Academy Español, or all three.
We recommend that you encourage your child to use these programs regularly from home to reinforce classroom learning and accelerate their academic progress.
The following articles will show you how easy it is to log in to these programs from your home. You will start at the same Age of Learning Login page at https://login.ageoflearning.com no matter which option you choose. You log in first, and then choose which program to use. Do not try to log in from an app you downloaded.
The first option is to enter the email address and password you used to redeem you child’s code as described above. The second option is available if you have a QR code for your child:
- How can I log into my programs and Caregiver Center at home?
- How can we log in to your programs from home with an Age of Learning QR code?
Need to Add Another Child / Redeem a Second Code?
Some families may receive more than one code if they have multiple students with access to our programs at school. If you have a second student code to redeem, please follow these steps to activate another free Age of Learning account for that child to use at home and add the child to your Caregiver Center.
- Go to your Caregiver Center at https://educate.aofl.com and log in with the username and password you created for the first child.
- Click Redeem Code.
-
Enter your second student code and click Submit.
- You will now see a pop-up box showing you which programs your second child has been licensed to use. Enter the same password you used to log in to the Caregiver Center to add your second child to your account and click the Submit button.
Monitoring progress for your second child: After you have redeemed a second code to give a second child access to our programs from home, you can monitor the progress of both children from your Caregiver Center.
You will now see a small down arrow next to your child’s name in the upper-left section of the screen. You can click there to switch your view to progress and usage data for your other child. Click the same down arrow if you need to switch back to the first child.
Don’t Have a Code?
Codes that families and caregivers use to access our products from home will come directly from your child’s teacher or school. If you didn’t receive a code or misplaced it, please contact the school or the teacher to have it sent or resent to you.
Why Is My Code Not Working?
If you were typing the code in, try entering the code again, making sure that you do NOT use spaces or dashes when you enter the code, and double-check that you input the correct letters. If it still doesn’t work, your code may have been redeemed already by another student. In that case, you should reach out to your child's teacher to have another code sent home.
Already Redeemed a Code?
Families only need to redeem their code one time (per child) to create their login credentials. If you have already redeemed your code, and it is not linking to your child’s information, contact our Customer Care team for help.
