Taking back a product license once it has been assigned to a student is also known as revoking a product license. Using the Educator Center to revoke a license will remove a student’s access to the product.
Revoke a Single License
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click Accounts at the top of your screen, then select Manage and Students from the drop-down menu.
- Click the name you want to edit.
- In the Student Info pop-up, scroll down to the Products section and click Revoke for the program(s) they no longer need a license for.
If you don't see any products listed here, the student does not have an active license.
Bulk Revoke Multiple Licenses
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click Accounts at the top of your screen, then select Manage and Students from the drop-down menu.
- Click the checkboxes next to each student you want to revoke licenses for, or click the very top checkbox to Select All students. Then click the blue Bulk Actions menu on the right side.
- From the the Bulk Actions drop-down menu, select Revoke Licenses.
- Select each license you want to revoke from the right side of the page. Note: Each program you are using will have licenses displayed here and there may be more than one per program (if they were issued on different dates). Select all that you wish to revoke.
To confirm, type the word REVOKE (IN CAPITAL LETTERS) in the textbox at the bottom of the page and click the Revoke Access button.
- After several seconds, you should see a green pop-up confirming that your Bulk Revoke is Done.
- If you don't notice that pop-up, you can click where it says Welcome and your name in the upper-right corner of the Educator Center and select Downloads and Jobs from the drop-down menu. You will see the status of your Bulk Revoke job listed there.
