The table below outlines each of the required and optional fields when rostering new Students, Teachers, Classes, and Schools in the Educator Center via spreadsheet. With the Age of Learning CSV Import function, administrators can easily import spreadsheets anytime roster updates are needed.
Note: All column headers listed below must be included in your roster file for the import to complete successfully, even if all fields are not populated.
Also, please note for each spreadsheet column what the acceptable entries are (for example "PK" for the pre-k grade; "English" or "Spanish" for language, "M" and "F" for genders, etc.).

School ID (Optional) |
Enter the School’s SIS (student information system) ID. |

School Name (Required) |
Enter the user’s assigned school name as you would like it to appear in the Educator Center. If the listed school name does not currently appear in the Educator Center, a new school will be created using the name listed in the import file. |

Class ID (Optional) |
Enter the Class SIS (student information system) ID. Note: if this is left blank, the Educator Center will generate a unique ID for the class. |

Class Name (Required) |
Each Student imported into the Educator Center is required to be assigned to a Class. Enter the Class name as you would like it to appear. If the listed Class name does not currently appear in the Educator Center, a new Class will be created using the name listed in the import file. |

Teacher ID (Optional) |
Enter the Teacher’s SIS (student information system) ID. If the Teacher ID is left blank, the Educator Center will generate a unique ID for the individual teacher. |

Teacher First Name (Required) |
Enter the Staff/Teacher’s first name. |

Teacher Last Name (Required) |
Enter the Staff/Teacher’s last name. |

Teacher Preferred Communication (Optional) |
Enter the preferred method for Teacher notifications (email, phone). |

Enter the Teacher’s email address that can be used for program notifications and report delivery. |

Teacher Phone (Optional) |
Enter the Staff/Teacher’s phone number (including area code). |

Student ID (Optional) |
Enter the Student’s SIS (student information system) ID. If the Student ID is left blank, the Educator Center will generate a unique ID for the individual student. |
