The Playlist Builder feature gives teachers the ability to guide their students' educational progress by selecting activities to build lessons that are based on the teacher’s assessment of student needs and interests.
To get started, follow the steps below:
- Go to the Teacher Section and select the Plan icon.
- Click the Build Playlist link to start creating a new Playlist.
- You can filter the displayed activities by the categories listed in the left column.
- You can also look up specific activities using the keyword search box.
- You can preview a game using the Play button displayed under each activity.
- The + icon will add the selected activity to your Playlist.
- Added activities will show a green check mark instead of + icon.
- Clicking the check mark will remove the activity from the Playlist.
- You can then click the View Selected button to review your Playlist or click the Save Playlist button to save it.
- A prompt will appear for you to name your Playlist.
- A brief description can be included as well, but it is not required.
- Click the Save Playlist button to finish.
Your new Playlist will be visible on your Plan page. The Assign function can be used to assign the Playlist to your students individually, by group, or by class. You will need to switch the toggle on if you’d like your Playlist to be visible on your Teach page. The Delete icon can be used to remove any unwanted Playlists.
