ABCmouse also features a rewards system that motivates children to learn, with Tickets distributed after completing an activity and end-of-lesson prizes. The Tickets can be used by children to decorate their individual Avatar, as well as “purchase” things for their Aquarium, Hamster Maze, Room, and Pet Park. The prizes chosen after completing a lesson are automatically added to the item-specific inventory.
While activities and curriculum offered through ABCmouse are presented as game activities, every activity is specially designed on a firmly structured academic framework. This is designed to allow children to play and remain attentive to the activities while enforcing fundamental building blocks without losing interest. Children can play for as long as they like and may not realize that they are learning!
