Removing a student and deleting a student are two different actions.
Removing a student removes them from a class, but keeps them in the Age of Learning Management System.
Deleting a student removes them from the Age of Learning Management System entirely.
Removing a Student from a Roster
In some instances, you may need to remove a student from your class but you don’t want to remove them entirely from the Age of Learning Management System. Removing the student from your class will allow the student to keep their usage data. This is useful if the student moved to another class but hasn’t left your school.
To remove a student from your class roster:
- Click on the Students tab in the sidebar menu.
- Select the student’s name in the list that you’d like to remove.
- This will open Student Info.
- In the Classes section, click the X next to the class that you want to remove the student from.
- Click Save.
Deleting a Student from a Roster
There may be instances where you need to delete a student entirely from the Age of Learning Management System. This may be the case if the student has left your school. Remember, deleting the student will permanently remove their student info and usage data.
To permanently delete a student from your roster:
- Click on the Students tab in the sidebar menu.
- Select the student’s name in the list that you’d like to remove.
- This will open Student Info.
- Click Delete Student.
