Age of Learning offers Free Accounts for Teachers so they can quickly and easily experience all the classroom benefits of our evidence-based and research-validated, adaptive learning programs — My Math Academy, My Reading Academy, and My Reading Academy Español — 100% free with no strings attached!
Accounts include unlimited classroom access to our programs, plus account management and usage and progress tracking from our Educator Center. There are, however, some limitations compared to our School+ and Enterprise plans. Free accounts are not available if your district already has an Age of Learning School Solutions account and not available if you have already used a free account in a previous school year.

My school year goes beyond June 30. How can I continue using my account?
Free access for teachers is scheduled to conclude June 30. A low-cost School+ plan would provide you with a seamless transition from your free account and offer additional benefits. If you are unsure how to proceed, we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss a plan that may fit your extended calendar.
I want to continue using this program next year and don’t think I need more than the free version. Can I do that?
Our free teacher access is a time-limited offering and not intended for long-term use. For continued access, we offer affordable site licenses and class packages designed to meet your goals year-round.
Who qualifies for a Free Teacher Account?
- Individual teachers and educators of public schools, private schools, and Head Start programs in the U.S. (Homeschooling and all other uses do not qualify.)
- Teachers who are not in a district that already has an Age of Learning School Solutions account.
- 2 Free Teacher Accounts are offered per District.
- One school year only. Teachers who have already used a free account in a previous school year do not qualify to sign up again.

What information is required on the sign-up form?
We’ll need:
- Your name
- Work email
- School phone
- Primary role and title
- State
- Organization type
- Grades you teach.
Then, check the box to agree to terms and certify your information.
Do I need a credit card or any other payment information to sign up?
No payment information is needed. Your Teacher Account is completely free, with no hidden fees.
What are the next steps after after signing up?
You will receive:
- An activation email with the Subject line “Set up your account”. Click the link to activate your account using your school email address and set your password. Learn more.
- A Welcome email with step-by-step guidance, including rostering, licensing, and logging in students. It also includes a custom Help Center link. Bookmark that page for ongoing support.
Can I get a free account as a homeschool teacher?
No. Currently, homeschool teachers do not qualify. Free Teacher Accounts are only available to educators at public schools, private schools, and Head Start programs. However, our new Homeschool solution offers unlimited access to all our adaptive programs, dashboards, and reporting for up to three children for $149 per year. Learn more here ...
How long will I be able to use my Free Teacher Account?
You will have free access to our personalized, adaptive solutions through the end of the school year. All licenses expire on June 30. If your school term ends later, we encourage you to contact us directly to discuss a plan that may fit your extended calendar.
How many students can I add to my free Teacher Account?
Our Free Teacher Accounts allow up to 35 students to use our programs: My Math Academy, My Reading Academy, and My Reading Academy Español. Reach out to our Customer Care team to request help if you have more students in your class.
Is there a limit to how many times I can use the programs?
No, there are no usage or time limits while your free account is active.
If my district already has a School Solutions account, can I sign up for a Free Teacher Account?
No, you would not qualify. These free accounts are only for teachers who do not have access to our programs, and signing up for a Free Teacher Account will conflict with your pre-existing district account. If your district has a paid account, you should utilize that opportunity for your students. A full, paid account offers your students, school, and district many additional advantages beyond an an individual Free Teacher Account.

No. ABCmouse access is not included with these Free Teacher Accounts for our School Solutions.
Is an ABCmouse for Teachers account included with this Free Teacher Account?
No. These are completely separate accounts for teachers. However, teachers can sign up separately for our ABCmouse for Teachers if they want to use ABCmouse in their classroom. If you’re a teacher using ABCmouse and need support, visit the Teacher Support section of the ABCmouse Help Center.
Can I change my account details later?

How can I roster my students?
You have two options for rostering with a Free Teacher Account:
Note: Clever, ClassLink, and other SSO rostering solutions are only for paid School Solutions accounts.
Can I use Clever or ClassLink to log in?
No, Free Teacher Accounts cannot use SSOs like Clever and ClassLink to log in to our programs.
How can I help rostered students who aren't listed on the Class Login page and can't access the programs?
If you see them listed in the Educator Center on the Students page (Accounts > Manage > Students), the likely issue is that they are missing licenses. Learn more.
Can I edit students' information after they are rostered?
Yes. The Educator Center allows you to access and change student information. Click Accounts > Manage > Students and then click on any student name. Learn more.
Can I assign skills or standard to students to work on in the programs?
No. Free Teacher Accounts do not have this feature. However, this feature will be available when upgrading to a full, paid School Solutions account.
Can I download or print lesson plans from the platform?
Yes, lesson plans and activities can be downloaded and/or printed from the Resources section of the Educator Center. Lesson plans are available in PDF format, so they are easy to open in your web browser and print or download to your computer and then print. Learn more here.
Do you offer any training or professional learning opportunities for teachers with free accounts?
Yes, we do. Simply go to the Resources section of the Educator Center and click on Professional Learning. This will open our Educator U. resource center. If you are not already enrolled in courses, click the Discover link to see what courses are available, and then click the Enroll in Course button for any class you would like to explore. You will see your classes on the Educator U. homepage after you have enrolled. Learn more here.
Can students share devices?
Yes, students can share devices, but it’s important for each child to log out after every session. This ensures the program accurately tracks their individual progress and adapts to their learning needs without interference.
Can multiple teachers access the Educator Center for the same class?
No. Free Teacher Accounts to not have this feature, but it is available after upgrading to a full, paid School Solutions account.
Can my students use your programs from home?
Yes. You can invite families to set up free home accounts, so students can continue to learn with our programs from home, and parents can monitor their progress from the Caregiver Center.
What is my Username?
Your school email address is considered your Username and that's what you will use to log in to all Age of Learning platforms (the Educator Center and Program Log-In page) .
Are there different logins for each program?
No. All licensed programs will be available to you and your students after logging in at at https://login.ageoflearning.com. Then you can click to use any program. There are not separate log-ins for each program.
What are the options to log students in to your programs at school?
From our Program Log-In page, you can:
- Log them in with your email address and password.
- Log them in with an Age of Learning QR code / badge.

How to I download a print QR codes / badges for my students?
Follow these simple steps.
Where can I find student access codes?
Free Teacher Accounts do not include codes for free at-home access. Only Teachers whose schools have purchased full access to our School Solutions can send invitations home to students' families with access codes for free at-home access to our programs.
Is student data secure?
Yes. Age of Learning uses encryption, strict access controls, and complies with FERPA. Regular audits ensure data security and privacy.
What happens to student data after my free account licenses expire?
All student data will be deleted 90 days after the licenses expire.
Where should I go for support if I have questions or issues about my Free Teacher Account?
We will continue to update this FAQ with any new information about this program and that information will be available from our Help chatbot from this School Solutions Help Center as well as the Educator Center.
I just signed up intending to use it for a summer program. Can I use it beyond June 30?
Free access was never intended for summer school and is set to end on June 30. We recommend that you get started as soon as possible to maximize student benefit within the current free access window.
I wasn't able to get it to work. Can I get an exception, and can someone help me?
Please reach out to our team for technical assistance—our goal is to ensure you can get started smoothly before June 30.
Are you offering another free trial program after June 30?
The free access version is only available for a limited time and isn’t intended for long-term use. We’d be happy to connect you with a business development representative who can walk you through options for continued access that align with your needs.
