After initially covering pre-K through 2nd grade, My Math Academy is now available to educators to significantly accelerate the mastery of skills, build math fluency, and boost student confidence for students through the 5th grade.
Students in these higher grades still benefit from the same personalized, adaptive learning that gives each student a personalized path to mastery through precise placement, guided instruction, immediate and actionable corrective feedback, and embedded assessment, supporting individual growth.
But the aged-up curriculum now features more complex math equations and strategies, presents story problems that become the basis for learning, and focuses on how math can help solve real-world problems — with the help of a new and engaging cast of characters!
Standards Support
Our team of Curriculum experts designed an engaging 3rd–5th grade math curriculum that will fully support Common Core, Texas TEKS, and Florida’s B.E.S.T. standards (standards coverage is currently expanding).

Math Squad and Story Problems
For these higher grade levels in My Math Academy, our lovable Shapeys make way — for the Math Squad! This dynamic and inquisitive quartet scours the globe (and beyond) for exciting new problems that your students can use their math skills to solve. The story problem structure is engaging and gives your students real-world contexts and additional motivation to solve the problems, complete their activities, and learn new skills.
Hosts and Teaching Videos
Your students are not on their own trying to figure out these sometimes challenging story problems posed by the Math squad. MMA features teaching videos hosted by their supportive and fun-loving friends who are great at breaking down the problems and communicating the needed math skills: Katherine, Sergio, Chadni, and Tanner.
Rewards System
Who said math isn't fun! When your students fill up their daily 15-minute My Math Academy meter, they are rewarded with a fun fact or joke from one of their Math Squad friends.
