We are committed to continually enhancing our learning programs to optimize educational outcomes for all students in your schools and to support the daily work of educators to achieve the same goal. Much of our progress stems from feedback and suggestions from educators, and we are pleased to share some of our recently released program features.

Top-Level Admins Can Now Set Their Own Academic Term
Academic Term has been added to the Accounts > Manage menu on the Educator Center so that top-level Admins can select a specific date to mark the start of a new school term. All students can then take or retake placement tests and their progress would more accurately reflect each district’s calendar. Note: The start of the new Academic Term will reset all Dashboard data.
Overall Progress Dashboard Expanded for Admins
The Overall section of our Progress Dashboards—which include insightful views of Skills by Standards, Skills by Group, and our newly updated Overall Student Growth datasets—has now been expanded to include Administrator levels throughout an Organization.
New Search Feature Added in Resources Section
A new Search feature has been added to the Resources section of the Educator Center, which enhances the ability of educators to locate skills and download additional learning materials for Pre-K/Preschool/TK through 5th Grade.
Grades Prior to Kindergarten Consolidated to Align with Standards
All grades preceding Kindergarten have been consolidated and are now categorized as Pre-K/Preschool/TK to more accurately align with our current standards support.
New Professional Learning Hub Added to Resources Section
Brightspace will now host our library of professional development tools, which can be easily accessed from the Resources section of the Educator Center.
