Our commitment is to continually enhance our learning programs to achieve better educational outcomes for all students in your schools and to support the daily work of educators to achieve the same goal. Much of our progress stems from feedback and suggestions from educators, and we are pleased to share some of our recently released program features.
- By Month View of Usage Dashboard
- Dashboard Redesign
- SIS ID Field Added to Student Info Page
- Manual Rostering Option for TPR-Connected Orgs
By Month View of Usage Dashboard
In addition to our Educator Center’s existing Usage Dashboard views for This Week and By Week, you will now be able to track student usage data for both My Math Academy and My Reading Academy by month. Simply click the By Month tab to switch to that view.
The Learning Time bar graph in the top-center of the page shows seven months of class usage data and how it compares to the monthly usage goal of 240 minutes.
Student Engagement metrics that you may be familiar with are now to the left of that chart. One notable change is that we are now listing Licensed students vs. Rostered students to get a more accurate, real-world view of student engagement metrics: the percentage of Licensed students who are Active and the percentage who are On Track. Some districts and schools roster all students, even if many of them will not be licensed to use our programs. You will see that change on This Week and By Week views, as well.
Scroll down to the next section of the By Month Dashboard to see the Average Monthly Minutes for each student (if you are a Teacher; see first screenshot below) or each School or District (if you are an Administrator; see second screenshot below).
Clicking the icon to the left of a student name will open a graph showing the students usage time by month.
On an Admin view, clicking the icon next to the school or district name will open the graph view showing % rostered students active and % of active students monthly. Clicking on a Student name opens their Student Stat page; clicking a school or district name drills down to a lower level within your organization.
Scroll down a little further to get to the last two sections of the By Month Dashboard. There, you will see the Percent of Licensed Students Who Are Active per Month and the Percent of Active Students by Monthly Time Spent (color-coded based usage ranges).
Dashboard Redesign
In conjunction with the development of our new By Month view of the Usage Dashboard, we rolled out the same fresh, new design and intuitive layout and interface modifications to the By Week view, so it should be a seamless tracking experience as you go from one to the other.
SIS ID Field Added to Student Info Page
SIS IDs are important for many districts and schools to manage student-related information and you will now be able to see them on each student's Student Info page within the Educator Center, as long as it was included in the rostering process.
When rostering, Clever will show the SIS ID given to the Clever system by the organization, and the Clever ID will still show up on the Student Info page as the Unique Roster ID. ClassLink will essentially duplicate the SIS ID given to the ClassLink system, so you will see it in both the SIS ID and the Unique Roster ID fields on the Student Info page.
SIS IDs are optional (but recommended) for manual CSV or OneRoster uploads.
Manual Rostering Option for TPR-Connected Orgs
Note: This feature is only available for organizations that have Manual Edits selected in IEMS.
Organizations that primarily use an SSO like Clever or ClassLink for rostering now have the ability to manually roster (via CSV upload or OneRoster) users who are not in their student information system (SIS) but need access.
If this option is available for you, you will see it in the Accounts > Roster menu on the Educator Center. Click the Accounts menu, select Roster, and then either ClassLink/Clever or Manual. Selecting Manual will take you to the default manual upload Roster page, where you can upload with our Legacy CSV or OneRoster.
