The Educator Center allows Administrators to delete Districts, Schools, Teachers, Classes, Students, and some other Administrators. However, it’s important for you to know three things:
- Deleting and archiving are different.
- Someone must be archived before they are deleted.
- Deleting any user or organization is permanent and cannot be undone.
Depending on your organization and permissions, you may have fewer or more options than what is listed below. Regardless of your structure, the process is the same. Teachers may not have permissions to delete a student; if that is the case, they will not see any Archived Students.
SSOs: If you use Clever, ClassLink, or another third-party SSO system to connect to the Educator Center, you must use that tool to make these changes.

Delete an Administrator
Please note: If the Administrator you would like to delete is in our system as a District Level Admin, you will need to contact us so that we can complete the deletion for you.
If you are unsure, follow the steps below, and if you do not see the Delete Admin button (as shown in step 5 below), you can reach out to us to request the deletion by clicking Chat below and asking for an agent or by submitting a ticket.
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click the Welcome, (organization name) at the top right of the screen, then select Manage Administrators from the drop-down.
- Click the Admin name you want to edit.
- Click the Delete Admin on the Edit Administrator pop-up.
- Click Delete to confirm. This action cannot be undone.
If you do not see the option to Delete Admin, you will need to request the deletion on our end by clicking Chat below and asking for an agent or by submitting a ticket.
Delete a District
Note: You can delete a District if you are an Administrator with sufficient privileges, but the District needs to be Archived first. If you haven’t done that yet, click here for the steps to archive a District.
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click Accounts at the top of your screen.
- Use the drop-down menu to click Manage.
- Use the drop-down menu to click District.
- Click the Archived District tab.
- Click the name you want to edit. If this page is blank, please make sure to archive the district first.
- Click Delete District on the Archived District pop-up.
- Type the word DELETE to continue.
- Click Delete District to confirm. This action cannot be undone.
Delete a School
Note: You can delete a School from the Educator Center, but the School needs to be Archived first. Learn how to Archive a School here.
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click Accounts at the top of your screen, then select Manage and Schools from the drop-down.
- Click the Archived School tab.
- Click the School name you want to edit. (If this Archived School page is blank, you will need to archive the School and then return here.)
- Select Delete School on the Archived School pop-up.
- Type the word DELETE to continue.
- Click Delete School to confirm. This action cannot be undone.
Delete a Teacher
Note: You can delete a Teacher from the Educator Center, but the Teacher needs to be Archived first. Learn how to Archive a Teacher here.
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click Accounts at the top of your screen, then select Manage and Teachers from the drop-down.
- Click the Archived Teacher tab.
- Click the Teacher name you want to delete. (If this Archived Teacher page is blank, you will need to archive the teacher and then return here.)
- Click Delete Teacher on the Archived Teacher pop-up.
- Type the word DELETE to continue.
- Click Delete Teacher to confirm. This action cannot be undone.
Delete a Class
Note: You can delete a Class from the Educator Center, but the Class needs to be Archived first. Learn how to Archive a Class here.
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click on Accounts at the top of your screen, then select Manage and Classes from the drop-down.
- Click the Archived Classes tab.
- Click the Class name you want to delete. (If this Archived Classes page is blank, you will need to archive the class and then return here.)
- Click Delete Class on the Archived Class pop-up.
- Type the word DELETE to continue.
- Click Delete Class to confirm. This action cannot be undone.
Delete a Student
Note: You can delete a Student from the Educator Center, but the Student needs to be Archived first. Learn how to Archive a Student here.
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- Click Accounts at the top of your screen, then select Manage and Students from the drop-down.
- Click the Archived Students tab.
- Click the Student name you want to delete. (If this Archived Students page is blank, you will need to archive the student and then return here.)
- Click Delete Student on the Archived Student pop-up.
- Type the word DELETE to continue.
- Click Delete Student to confirm. This action cannot be undone.
