Efficient roster management is essential for an organized educational experience, and our OneRoster integration helps to simplify this process. This overview guides you through roster template downloading, uploading, and validation within your Educator Center account.

Supported CSV Options
OneRoster has several CSV components. Here is a quick breakdown of the CSVs that the Educator Center currently supports:
- manifest.csv
Identifies all included CSVs as either “absent”, “bulk”, or “delta” uploads.
“absent” = the file is not included.
“Bulk” = the file contents will completely override any data in the Educator Center with what is in the file. Anything included in the Educator Center and not in a bulk file will be archived.
“delta” = can update rosters with new/adjusted entries, without having to include all of your roster information. Anything not included in this file will not be touched by the Educator Center.

- users.csv
Creates students, teachers, and administrators, first and last names, as well as emails (for teachers and administrators), are required. Student grades can be set here.
- roles.csv
Sets the roles for all users created in users.csv. The orgSourcedID is used to place teachers and students in specific school groups and to set the level of influence for Administrators.
- orgs.csv
Creates groups above classes, depending on the tier level of your organization. We support tier groups from 1 - 4 (Class, School, District, Region) but classes are not created with this CSV. In order to create Administrators at the highest level, you will need your orgSourcedId. Please communicate with Age of Learning representatives to either have this ID set or inquire as to what it is.
- classes.csv
Creates classes to put into schools. The schoolSourcedID will assign a class to that school.
- enrollments.csv
Assign teachers and students to classes. The user, school, and class IDs are all required to assign a single user to a class.
- demographics.csv
Only required if you would like to import student gender and birth month/years. Currently, no other data is pulled in from this CSV.
