Administrators are responsible for sending invitations to teachers, enabling them to activate their accounts via the Educator Center. This activation is required for teachers to access and use any Age of Learning programs or platforms.
The simple steps below show you how you can invite teachers from different areas of the Educator Center, depending on how broadly you want to send out these activation emails.
- Invite Teachers from the Schools section
- Invite Teachers from the Teachers section
- Invite Teachers from the Classes section
Invite Teachers from the Schools section
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- At the top of your screen, click Accounts, then Manage, then Schools from the drop-down menu.
- If you want to invite teachers from all your schools, click the top checkbox above all the school names and then Select All from the drop-down. Otherwise select the checkboxes next to individual schools.
- Click the blue Bulk Actions button on the right side of the page and then select Send Teacher Invites from the drop-down menu.
- You should first see a green Teacher invites have been queued pop-up message at the top of your screen (this may take a few seconds), followed by a confirmation with details of what invitations were sent (the confirmation will have more or less detail depending on your organization).
- If you don't see the confirmation pop-up or you want to confirm the details of your invitations, look for a red dot in the top-right corner of your screen, next to Welcome, (your name), click that drop-down menu and then select Downloads and Jobs. You will see how many invites were sent, how many teachers were already active, and any invitations that could not be sent.
Invite Teachers from the Teachers section
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- At the top of your screen, click Accounts, then Manage, then Teachers.
- If you want to invite all teachers, click the top checkbox above all the teacher names and Select All from the drop-down. Otherwise, select the checkboxes next to individual Teacher names. Click the blue Bulk Actions button on the right side of your screen, then select Send Teacher Invites from the drop-down.
- You should see a green Teacher invites have been queued message at the top of your screen (this may take a few seconds). After a few more seconds, you should see a second pop-up confirming that the invitations were sent.
- If you don't see the confirmation pop-up or you want to confirm the details of your invitations, look for a red dot in the top-right corner of your screen, next to Welcome, (your name), click that drop-down menu and then select Downloads and Jobs. You will see how many invites were sent, how many teachers were already active, and any invitations that could not be sent.
Invite Teachers from the Classes section
- Log in to your Educator Center account.
- At the top of your screen, click Accounts, then Manage, then Classes.
- If you want to invite all the teachers in all classes, click the top checkbox and Select All from the drop-down. Otherwise, select the checkboxes next to individual Class names. Click the blue Bulk Actions button on the right side of your screen, then select Send Teacher Invites from the drop-down.
- You should see a green Teacher invites have been queued message at the top of your screen (this may take a few seconds). After a few more seconds, you should see a second pop-up confirming that the invitations were sent.

What Happens Next? All the Teachers you selected will be sent an email with a link to create their Educator Center account. This link is unique to the teacher and should only be used by the intended recipient.
Once a teacher clicks the activation link, they will need to choose a secure password for their account.
