The next generation of adaptive learning technology
My Math Academy is a first-of-its-kind learning platform for schools that’s designed to give teachers certainty in their student’s math progress. With this adaptive program, students will learn math concepts and skills through a mastery-based approach, receiving real-time feedback as they engage in meaningful practice. Once students demonstrate that they have mastered a skill, they progress to more challenging topics.
All games in My Math Academy address concepts covered by common state standards. For many standards, our curriculum and game design teams have unpacked them into more granular learning objectives. These learning objectives are informed by not only U.S. state standards but also international learning standards for Mathematics.

Activities
Animations
My Math Academy's curriculum includes several highly entertaining animated activities, each teaching a specific learning topic. Shapeys™ are the main characters throughout the program. From Shapey Scientists and Shapey Lab Assistants discovering what you may already know to Shapey Scouts practicing equality and inequality math skills, these animated videos engage students while they learn. Students will interact with Shapeys throughout their entire game experience.
Games
My Math Academy features hundreds of fun and interactive games, each designed to teach a specific educational concept. Your students can play games to learn to count out aloud to learn to make shapes! Since all of the games on the site include voiced instructions, they are easy for even young students to learn and play.

Your student’s Learning Path is unique to them and adjusts according to their responses, in real-time, through dynamic, interactive assessments. The adaptive Learning Activities in My Math Academy are placed in the world of Shapeys, appealing, colorful characters who act as guides as well as digital math manipulatives. Students love helping Shapeys solve math problems! With every Learning Activity contextualized in one of many real-world settings—a circus, an arcade, a grocery store, a pirate’s island, and many more—students come away having learned not only how to do math, but also why it’s such a useful subject to know.
Conceptual Understanding
My Math Academy ensures that your students can demonstrate conceptual understanding instead of the all-too-common approach of memorization of procedures to execute steps they don’t truly understand:
- The program uses interactive digital math manipulatives such as counters, base-ten blocks, ten frames, hundred charts, number lines, and more to give your students hands-on experiences with concepts.
- New concepts are introduced using language that is already familiar to the students.
- Shapeys bring concepts to life by providing meaningful contexts with engaging stories and real-world situations for each Learning Activity.
